Each 100-percent cotton towel is intricately woven with olives or pistachios—staples of the Mediterranean—in Guimarães, Portugal, a city now putting a sustainable bend on its centuries-old tradition of textile craftsmanship. The design is woven into thick cotton for long-lasting durability, unlike screen-printed versions that lose color when washed. Use the towels to wipe down counters and dry dishes—they’re roomy enough to spread on a counter and wonderfully soft on hands or dishes alike. The towels are easy to clean when done; we machine-washed and tumbled them dry—no shrinking or wrinkles here.
