Chicken Marbella was first created in the 1980s. The distinctive flavours of olives, capers and prunes with tender, juicy, free-range chicken have kept this dish a favourite for decades. Here at Sabato, we've updated the recipe for modern palates and created our own lighter version, while still retaining all the essential ingredients, tastes and textures.
This dish was awarded a silver medal at the Outstanding Food Producer Awards 2025, with judges describing it as a 'beautifully cooked, true Chicken Marbella'.
Defrost and remove plastic packaging and bake uncovered in an oven preheated to 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
